The calculator estimates tax from user-entered salary under the FY 2025-26 new-regime slabs shown below. Users must verify current law and their facts before acting or filing.

Calculator inputs

This illustration uses gross annual salary and an optional ₹75,000 standard deduction. FY 2025-26 new-regime slabs applied: nil up to ₹4 lakh; 5% to ₹8 lakh; 10% to ₹12 lakh; 15% to ₹16 lakh; 20% to ₹20 lakh; 25% to ₹24 lakh; 30% above ₹24 lakh; plus 4% cess. A Section 87A rebate is applied when taxable income is ₹12 lakh or less. Other income, deductions, surcharge and marginal relief are not modelled. Do not enter PAN or documents.
